Find FiveM players with GameVerse
FiveM is the multiplayer modification framework for GTA V that GTA roleplay runs on. Instead of Rockstar's lobbies, you join a persistent city with its own jobs, factions, police and EMS departments, economy and rules. The framework is free, but it needs your own legitimate copy of GTA V on PC: no console, no cracked build.
What FiveM does not give you is people. Server lists show you cities, not characters you want to share a scene with, and the serious ones gate entry behind an application and a whitelist. GameVerse is the FiveM player finder that matches you with people to roleplay alongside and to apply with.
We match players, not servers
This is the part worth being clear about: GameVerse does not rank or advertise FiveM servers. You choose the city. We find the people. Applying to a whitelisted server with two or three players who already agreed on a shared backstory is a completely different experience from applying alone and hoping the interview lands.
FiveM roleplay finder
Our FiveM player search matches on:
- Playstyle: serious roleplay or casual.
- Region: so the people you find are online in your part of the world.
- Platform: FiveM is PC only.
Your profile also shows your language and voice preference, which matter in roleplay. Server type, faction, character concept and experience are things you discuss with the people you find in the built-in messaging.
Whitelists and applications, honestly
Most well-run GTA RP servers are whitelisted. That means a written application, sometimes a voice interview, rules you are expected to have read, and a wait. Some run in-character interviews for police or EMS departments on top of that. GameVerse cannot skip any of it, and any site that says otherwise is selling you something.
What it can do is put you in front of people who are applying to the same kind of city at the same time, so you go through the process together instead of walking into a server where you know nobody.
Why server list browsing fails
The FiveM server browser sorts by player count. It tells you nothing about whether the people inside stay in character, whether the police department is roleplayed or power-tripped, or whether anyone will be online at your hours. Discord LFG channels for GTA RP have the opposite problem: plenty of people, no filtering, and a post that scrolls away in a minute. A persistent profile and a search on region and playstyle make the difference.
Characters that outlast the first week
The value of roleplay is continuity. A character is worth playing when the same people recognize it next week, react to what it did, and build on it. A persistent profile and built-in messaging make it easier for the group you find to still be there for the second arc, not just the first night.

FAQ
Do I need to own GTA V to play FiveM?
Yes. FiveM requires a legitimate copy of Grand Theft Auto V on PC, updated and launched at least once, plus the FiveM client itself. There is no console version and pirated copies are blocked. Everything else, including the framework and the servers, is free. Once you are set up, the FiveM crew finder is where you find people to play it with.
How do I get into a whitelisted GTA RP server?
You apply. Serious servers ask for a written application covering your character concept and your understanding of the rules, and many follow with a voice interview, especially for police and EMS roles. Read the ruleset before writing anything, and apply with a character you actually want to play for months. GameVerse helps you find players who want to apply to a similar city so you can go through it together.
How does GameVerse matchmaking work for FiveM?
The match uses your region and your playstyle (serious or casual roleplay). Your profile also shows your language and voice preference. Server type, faction and character concept are things you discuss in the built-in messaging. See the find players page to build your profile.
Is FiveM the same thing as GTA Online?
No. GTA Online is Rockstar's official multiplayer mode, with heists, businesses and its own economy. FiveM is a separate modification framework that runs custom servers on GTA V's map, most of them roleplay cities with their own rules. Plenty of people play both. For the official mode, see our GTA Online page and the GTA Online crew finder.
Is GameVerse free for FiveM players?
Yes, GameVerse is free during the beta, with no subscription required to create a profile and find people to roleplay with. Join through the Discord community or the find-players page, then set your region and playstyle.
