Stardew Valley LFG: Co-op Farm Finder

Stardew Valley LFG. Find farmhands for your co-op farm, from a cozy duo to a full cabin crew, instead of a Reddit or Discord post.

Find Stardew Valley players with GameVerse

Stardew Valley is a game you can play alone for hundreds of hours, but the co-op farm is where it gets really good: split the mines, share the greenhouse, and argue about where the next Junimo hut goes. The hard part is that the farm is a long commitment, and nothing in the game helps you find the people to share it with. GameVerse is the Stardew Valley farm finder for players who want farmhands, not just a random join.

Why you need a Stardew Valley co-op finder

A multiplayer farm is not a match you leave after twenty minutes. Someone hosts, everyone else moves into a cabin, and the save lives for months. The choice of partners matters:

  • A host who keeps showing up: only the host's machine runs the farm, so a host who disappears takes the world with them.
  • Same pace: a player rushing to the Skull Cavern and another who wants to fish and decorate will drift apart quickly.
  • Time zones: a group split across very different regions rarely finds a shared evening.

GameVerse searches on the game and your region, shows players who are online now, and lets you say in your search text whether you want a chill farm or a more optimized one. You agree on the rest in the built-in messaging.

How many players, and on which platform

Co-op size depends on where you play, and it is the first thing to settle:

  • PC (Windows, macOS, Linux): up to 8 players on one online farm since update 1.6.
  • Nintendo Switch 2 Edition: up to 8 players online. Game Share lets one copy invite up to three friends who do not own the game.
  • PlayStation, Xbox and original Switch: online co-op is capped at 4 players.
  • Local split-screen: up to 4 players, on PC and console.

Mobile versions have no multiplayer. Crossplay is not supported, so PC players play with PC players and console players need a partner on the same console. Everyone also needs the same game version. GameVerse has no platform filter, so say your platform in your search text or first message before you plan a farm around someone who cannot join it.

Cabins, money and farm setup to agree on

Each farmhand gets a cabin from Robin, so the farm needs one for every extra player before anyone can join. When the host creates the farm, they also choose between shared money and separate wallets, which changes how the whole game feels: a shared wallet is a team project, separate wallets let everyone run their own side business. Agree on that, and on who handles which crops, animals and mines, before the first day. GameVerse does not match on farm setup, so this is a conversation for your messaging.

One farm, many ways to play

A cozy duo farm, a house of friends sharing the work, a community center run as a group: the same Stardew Valley player search covers them all. GameVerse groups up to 8 players per search, which lines up with the PC and Switch 2 limit.

FAQ

What is the best Stardew Valley LFG?

Most players start with the Stardew Valley subreddit and Discord servers. They either drop you with random teammates or work like notice boards, where you post and wait for the right person to read it. GameVerse is a Stardew Valley LFG that does the matching for you. It shows players who are online now for the same game and region, chill or competitive, and you message them directly to team up.

How many players can join a Stardew Valley farm?

Up to 8 online on PC and on the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, and up to 4 on PlayStation, Xbox and the original Switch. Local split-screen is limited to 4. Each player needs a cabin on the farm.

Does Stardew Valley have crossplay?

No. PC players can only join other PC players, and console players can only join players on the same console. Tell your future farmhands which platform you are on early, in your search text or your first message.

Do all of us need to own Stardew Valley?

Yes, and everyone must run the same game version. The exception is the Switch 2 Edition, where Game Share lets one copy invite up to three friends who do not own the game.

Should we share money or keep separate wallets?

The host chooses when the farm is created. Shared money suits groups who treat the farm as one project, separate wallets suit players who want their own income. Talk it through in the built-in messaging before you start, since it shapes every purchase afterwards.
